About

Hi I'm Emi!

Originally from Okinawa, I embarked on a journey to Canada in 2007, eager to expand my world. With a passion for art and design, I enrolled in a college graphic design program, eventually establishing my own small business in the field.

Over time, my interests expanded, leading me to the world of photography, where I discovered a fondness for food photography. I had always had an appreciation for ceramics, so naturally I became drawn to beautiful and unique platewear.

Taking a pottery class ignited this passion. From day one, I felt an instant connection to the craft. I spent some time honing my skills at a studio in Vancouver. It was around then that call of home grew stronger, as often happens as we go through life.

Embracing the opportunity to return to Okinawa, I set up my own modest pottery studio, eager to share my work. It's been a humble journey—one of discovery, growth, and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in simplicity and the perfection of imperfection.
